Oraclerium is an online world where combat is a shooter. You aim, reload and watch your ammo. Blades and energy weapons both have their place, and a jetpack gets you anywhere on the map.
It is pre-alpha, and it is live. Make an account and play now, in the browser or with the desktop client.
The idea
There are no classes and no experience for kills. Skills grow as you use them. Fights come down to your aim, not a hotbar. The world runs without loading screens between areas.
It runs in the browser so anyone can try it, and what players tell us shapes what we build next.
Where it stands
The test area has a shop with a vendorbot, a recruiter with your first quests, a flight trainer and a medic. Out in the valley there are Flobs, Stounts, Clegurks and Faduns, and a Matriarch you should not face alone.
Seven weapons are in so far, along with armour sets and jetpacks.
